Ended up in Camden in search of some ‘alternative’ shopping? You’re best off sidestepping the market - a haven of souvenir shops and outfitters to teenage goths – and heading down the High Street to number 159. Nestled inauspiciously between a Pret and a bargain stationers, Camden Collective’s C/159 is a pop-up space that houses ten stalls made from reclaimed materials: each is home to work by an independent designer, artist or retailer. It’s also home to the well-named Eat Chic Café, which offers a range of organic, vegan and gluten free treats.
