City Cupcake Challenge

Dust off your aprons for this sweet charity challenge at the Guildhall, organised by the Mayor's office as part of the inaugural City Giving Day. £2 lets you put your cupcake up for the scrutiny of a panel of judges: Great British Bake Off winner Frances Quinn, Cocomaya's Thom Joseph and ITV chef Peter Sidwell, with awards for best tasting cupcake, best looking cupcake and the Lord Mayor’s chosen favourite. Those of a less competitive bent can take advantage of a tea party and a baking fete, with the likes of Sweet Couture, Cocomaya and more selling tooth-threatening treats galore.
