Interior designer Tricia Guild launched this shop in 1970 when it quickly became the best of its type, with colourful fabrics and wallpapers offering modern takes on traditional patterns. The store now also has a great selection of homewares, including a range of 98 paint colours selected to complement the fabrics, wallpapers, home furnishings, tableware, rugs, stationery and all the other design-led accessories. It also stocks a great range of contemporary and vintage furniture, which you can choose to cover with fabrics from the vast Designers Guild range or select from other brands such as Jasper Conran and William Yeoward, even combining different fabrics on the same piece. Cushions go from around £50, while bedlinen starts at £60 for a single duvet set.
