    Would Sheperd's Bush Market count?
I think it's one of the last outdoor markets left in London.

here here to the comment from Tafari. Many of these markets including brick lane, spitalfields, actally most of east London, have been ruined by out of towners moving into the area to experience 'urban' living. The markets of 15-20 years ago have sadly been lost by 'bright young media types' flocking for a bit of urban life. Please carry on ignoring those parts of london not yet ruined and take your trust funds elswhere.

Can you tell me which markets are near to Docklands, reachable and parkable by car or closely accessible via DLR.

The current Time Out Market guide just focusses on the big markets as usual -this is disappointing--why can't the reporter be a bit more adventourous and venture into the smaller markets like Acton Market (www.actonmarket.co.uk) and others featured in these comments. ?
How about a response to this Time Out?? --get out and about and around London more-its quite interesting!!

you're right about borough market being expensive, but then so are a lot of these markets, all selling tat at really high prices to people prepared to pay for them, being they are retro, vintage an all... - Dickens will be rolling around laughing in his grave!! Mugs...

on the one hand i'm shocked you didn't mention brixton market. on the other hand i'm glad because we could do without the middle-class out-of-towners that make borough market and brick lane market worthy of mention. please carry on ignoring us.

Hey, don't forget the Clocktower Market on Greenwich High Road in Greenwich. We might not be as big as the Craft Market which you featured, but with 50 stalls, selling vintage goods, we like to think we prove that small can be beautiful,

Missed out Golborne Road - it's an amazing place to spend some time - great street food, stalls and shops. Only 5 minutes away from the main drag of Portobello and well worth seeking out.
