    Aram has been introducing innovative home design to London since the 1960s, and there plenty of great bargains to be had at this January sale. Some stock is reduced by up to 70 per cent, and you can bag great savings on furnishings with a ‘wow’ factor, such as Verner Panton’s Heart Cone Chair for £1,340, a saving of £600. With all sales over £150 you can buy a set of colourful Vita coat hooks for £80 (RRP £161).

    Geoffrey Drayton has been selling contemporary European furniture and lighting to Londoners for the past 40 years. This January there will be up to 50 per cent off ex-display and discountinued lines, plus special offers on orders taken during the sale period. Bargain buys include a cartoon screen from Balerie Italia, reduced 50 per cent to £500, and the Knoll’s Womb Chair and foot stall, reduced by more than 30 per cent to £2,455.

    I will be in the UK for 4 weeks starting 16th Feb and as it is 40 degrees in Aus we do not have any winter clothing on sales so where can I buy some cheap jumpers and trousers to wear to keep warm
