much-loved centre being demolished to make room for a home furnishings
store and housing. Any ingredient or kitchen equipment you could ever
need is sold here, from fresh sashimi-grade fish to countless varieties
of culinary essentials such as soy sauce and more obscure items such as
lotus leaves (used for wrapping food to be steamed).

Their motto is ‘For the
Chinese in you’, and Loon Fung is currently the only Chinese
supermarket in Chinatown to have a butcher’s counter – perfect for
buying things such as pork shin bones, various offal and chicken feet.

That's the problem. There are so many recipes on th Internet, I do not know what would be the best one. I would not want to go through all that ttoble to end up with something that does not taste like kimchi. LOL Any suggestions on the best recipes?
Shar,
Your best bet for Kimchi is in the Seoul Plaza stores. They have stores in New Malden, Cambridge and Golders Green if you're ever in those areas.
If all else fails there are plenty of recipes online to make your own with. It's pretty easy and fun too!
I live in Leicestershire, between Leicester and Loughborough. Can you please
tell me if there are any Korean food store near where I live. I moved to
England some years ago, and miss my food, like cabbage kimchi, and do not
know where I can buy it here. I have been trying to find a Korean shop for 9
years now, so I hope you can help. Thanks.
