Dappa, the new venture between vintage trader Paul Franckeiss and hairstylist Stephen Love is a welcome new addition to Chalk Farm Road and packed with reasonably priced, glamorous, vintage menswear, womenswear and accessories. Moving through the shop, in the second room you’ll find a space devoted to quality men’s vintage tailoring – perfect for chaps who have outgrown their club-kid days, yet have not fully abandoned their quest for individual style. Delve deeper still and you’ll find a plush little salon tucked away discreetly at the back where cuts, colour, and one of the best blow-dries in London are provided. Blowdry £29.50.
Best buy 1960s men’s leather shoes with cut-out detail £45.
