I always visit EC One when I am in Notting Hill and always find something that I love...the staff are really helpful and inspirational - I even sent my little brother there with his fiancee and they so enjoyed buying her engagement ring they went back for their wedding rings...fab shop.

It's rare these days to feel you're genuinely being looked after when you go shopping but ECOne never fails to deliver. Regardless of how much you have to spend, you're always treated like a valued customer. I've heard countless stories of how they go the extra mile to make something to design or budget specifications, again not something you hear often. I'm not a big jewellery wearer, but I wear the pieces I have from ECOne over and over.

I hardly ever buy jewellery, but twice I have had something special made for a birthday and an anniversary at Econe. They staff were extremely helpful, understood what I wanted, and went out of their way to make sure the pieces fitted my specifications exactly. The cost was really reasonable, and I have ended up with one off pieces that I wear every day.

EC One is definitely the pick of this bunch in my opinion. You always, always find something gorgeous whether it's a present for a friend or a cocktail ring for yourself....I wish! Staff are really helpful and friendly - a thoroughly pleasing shopping experience.

I heard so much about Tatty Devine jewellery being really nice etc. that before spending my hard-earned cash on the lovely things featured on their website I decided to visit their Brick Lane shop. The shop is nice and small - but all jewellery is displayed under 3 glass countertops so can't touch and feel it. Unfortunately as I asked if I could have a look and try 2 necklaces the shop assistant was quite unfriendly and unhelpful (sighs, no eye contact, totally silent), and then she immedialtelyput the jewellery away before I could say or ask anything. Disappointed, but to make my visit worthwhile, I just quickly bought a single accessory (£26) I had picked on the website before coming but was not even offered to join their Customer Club (points earned every time you spend over £25). Needless to say I saved some money as I quickly left that shop... Although the accessories are truly gorgeous I have been very disappointed by the experience in there and would check their Soho branch next time - hopefully different.

Have your say
