Wills Moody Rock 'n' Roll Jumble Sale © Jean Goldsmith
Free, The New Rose, 84-86 Essex Rd, N1 8LU
A regular on the upmarket jumble-sale scene, the monthly Jumble and Pearls is so successful it's outgrown its previous home and moved to The New Rose, where there'll be the usual mix of vintage goodies and plenty of designer treasure among the rails.
First and third Sun of every month. Free, The Victoria, 110 Grove Rd, E3 5TH (www.myspace.com/thevictoriae3). Mile End Tube
It's only natural to want to spend Sundays in a pub, but here's another excuse there's not only jumble for sale, but cream teas, crafts and cheap haircuts too!

This is mixture of tables selling vintage, toys, flowers, goods from moving house, clothes, plants and general hidden treasures! There is even mention of home grown vegetables for next months sale. Some of the stalls are organised by charities raising money and others are members of the public selling on their treasures. We also have some yummy food prepared by a local chef for very reasonable prices (to give you an idea - curry and rice £2.80, soup £1.50, drinks from 40p) through the new Boiler House 'Ad Hoc Cafe'. To book a table or for more information please click here or call 07942 858 956 come along and tell your friends, family and neighbours :)
Lost In Vintage is, I think by Time Out's definition, a jumble - a new vintage bi-monthly fair in Islington full of fab fashion stalls, bric a brac, cupcakes and cocktails too. Prices range up from just a few pounds to more for older clothes - still a bargain given the quality of vintage clothing! Come along on 30th April - from 12 noon onwards. Time Out are listing the event on their website - it's above the Old Queens Head 44 Essex Road. N1 8LD.
