Forget the idea of car boot sales being fusty and dusty, the Princess May draws an uber trendy Stoke Newington crowd at its lively sale for vintage and valuables. One lucky shopper we spoke to made off with a £6 Prince Charles mug by Luck & Flaw (the creators of Spitting Images) that was later valued at £100. There's a great choice of vintage costume jewellery and coins, and a delicious weekly BBQ on site during summer months.

Buying here is great but selling is a nightmare. The woman who runs the car boot is totally unreasonable, really aggressive and rules with an iron fist! It's fun to go there to buy things but avoid selling if you want to have a peasant weekend experience.
I went to visit this market after It was recommended to me. Hope fully I will be going there soon to sell on some goodies to the public myself.
