Search and Rescue

Best for...
Haute homewares

Nearest tube
Stoke Newington

With its organic skincare and assortments of utility glassware, Search and Rescue fits right in on Stoke Newington's Church Street, where it has serviced stylish locals since 2012. With more space than its mostly teeny neighbouring boutiques, the lifestyle store covers quite a lot of ground when it comes to gifting. Providing your recipient likes their homewares artfully weathered, and their ceramics prettily printed. While it's an obvious hunting ground for ideas for mums and girlfriends, with its many desirable lotions and potions from the likes of Korres and Marseille Soap company, and gorgeous silky kimonos from China, there are also pleasures for the rest of the pack. Anyone who loves tactile stationery (and who doesn't love a bit of stationery?) is well-served here, and the beautifully printed wrapping paper is the best in the area, if not the city.
