You can pick up all the fabric, bobbins and miscellaneous bits you might need to get making at The Make Lounge’s little boutique. Then you better book in to one of its expansive stand-alone workshops covering not only textiles (emroidery, sewing, quilting and the like), but also screen-printing, biscuit decorating and Rob Ryan-style paper cutting. Workshops tend to be arranged in evenings or on Saturdays and roughly range from £40-£70.
