Philip Start (founder of Woodhouse) and his wife Brix (former guitarist for punk rock band the Fall, and style expert on Gok's Fashion Fix) own these his 'n' hers boutiques. In the women's store you'll find well-known brands such as Acne, Carven, Rick Owens, Preen and Sonia by Sonia Rykiel alongside London labels like Richard Nicoll and Christopher Kane. There's also a hugely covetable range of accessories such as sunglasses by Illesteva, an expanding shoe section and jewellery byBex Rox and Disney Couture. Across the road at the men's store enjoy browsing rails of Woolrich, Moncler and Gloverall. Philip and Brix's third store on Rivington Street houses the Mr Start label including suits, ties, shirts and a made-to-measure service (prices for the latter start at £750).
