This amiable bookshop has a true community feel, with one wall featuring book reviews from the school children in the neighbourhood. Owners Jo and Cris De Guia have set out to make the store reflect local tastes and interests, with particular strength in catering to the curriculum requirements of nearby schools. Books are categorised by look and feel as well as content - there's a section for interactive titles, and children can get their hands on cloth, bath and buggy books. Teenagers and adults are also catered for - there's a strong range of parenting books, for example. Everybody's welcome to take a turn in the outside patio, and there are reading events for pre-schoolers on Tuesdays and Fridays.
