Liverpool come to play for the second time in a few weeks, and if it's anything like the league encounter between the two sides then the fans should be in for a treat. As the defending champions, Harry Redknapp will be aware of the importance of this competition to Spurs supporters, and will no doubt continue to treat it with more respect than some of his contemporaries, Rafa Benitez included. Still, it should give Jermaine Pennant the chance of a run-out and a warm welcome from the home fans. Tottenham are unlikely to be at anything other than full strength, despite their continued precarious league position, and Darren Bent in particular will be desperate to add to his increasingly impressive goalscoring record. Six already? Who'd have thought it. The defence still looks dodgy, though, and Alan Hutton in particular sorely needs a run of good form. In short, wrap up warm and prepare for another classic.
