• Coca-Cola Championship Charlton Athletic v Wolverhampton Wanderers

  • This is a televised clash between high-profile clubs with top-flight ambitions in danger of achieving little more than solid lower-tier status. Wolves may be a little further ensconced in the realities of the Championship than Charlton, but the parallels between the two should remind Addicks fans that failing to gain promotion in your first season after relegation can easily lead to a future of mid-table obscurity. As it is, both clubs are still battling to cement a play-off place but suffering from dreadful inconsistency. Any eventual trip to Wembley would be more a result of luck than judgment. Either could win here, but Wolves may consider themselves favourites by virtue of striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, who has proven ability to score consistently in this division. That's something not matched by any player in Charlton's unsettled side, which at this stage of the campaign is nothing short of disastrous. Alex Hammond
