Chelsea's title hopes hinge on them having gained some sort of result at Newcastle on Monday; even a draw will see the race through to this last game of the league season. Bolton were also hoping for a positive weekend but for totally opposite reasons. There are worse teams in the Premier League and manager Megson is a decent enough chap who's had to clear up after the folly of appointing Little Sam following Big Sam's departure. However, that's not how it works and their recent revival may not be enough; the home fans could be waving goodbye with one hand while the other is pushing a radio to the ear to find out what's happening at Wigan. They could also be saying farewell to quite a few of the Blues squad – top of the departure list being Drogba and the awful Malouda. Come on the Latics! Dave Faulkner
