After the city of Cardiff welcomed four London teams to FA Cup finals (only Arsenal ever managed to win one, though), it's fitting that the club from the Welsh capital now make the 150-mile trip to Wembley. Their route to the final has not been epic. Just one top-flight team has been dispatched along the way, though young Welsh internationals Parry, Ledley and Ramsey have been outstanding, helped by a robust central defensive partnership of Johnson and Loovens. Standing in their way of unlikely silverware is Harry Redknapp's Portsmouth. Despite a fantastic league campaign, they fell away following the semi-final win over West Bromwich Albion and UEFA Cup hopes now rest squarely on this game. While Distan and Campbell have been reliable at the back, Defoe has had to shoulder the bulk of the scoring following his move from Spurs – the cup-tied Londoner will be sorely missed. But the key could be another England star: PFA keeper of the season David James has been out with a calf injury since April 20. Could the year of the underdog have one final twist? Ben Isaacs
