This is a chance for Rochdale to shed one of football's most unenviable records: they've been stuck in the bottom division for 34 years, and have managed just one promotion in a century. Keith Hill – 'the balding Mourinho' to fans – is determined to cast history aside, though he's up against a County side managed by a man with a feisty reputation. Jim Gannon was engaged in a slanging match with his Wycombe opposite number about Wanderers' physical style of play in the semi-final, and was also at odds with Sky because he was unhappy with the scheduling of the first leg on a Sunday evening. He won't mind a Monday afternoon kick-off if they win here. Andrew Shields
