Motorsport's 'golden era' will be recalled over the Bank Holiday weekend at Brands, with Formula 1 racers from the 1960s and '70s on the same bill as classic Le Mans machinery and sports cars such as the iconic Ford GT40. Saturday's action is on the Indy circuit and features the Top Hat Historic Championships. Sunday and Monday will be on the Grand Prix track, including the Grand Prix Masters for F1 cars built between 1968 and '78 and the World Sports Car Masters for pre-1974 sports cars and prototypes. The wonderfully named Gentleman Drivers GT & Sport Endurance Masters pits iconic motors from Aston Martin, Ferrari, Chevrolet Corvette, Austin Healey and Jaguar against nimble pre-1963 racers such as Lotus 11s and 17s.
