Athletics? Well, sort of. Sport and adventure social club 8th Day UK are organising a Sumo Suit Pentathlon consisting of the 100m, long jump, high jump, shot putt and a 400m endurance race. There'll be medals for all individual events plus an overall champion. Perhaps the most amusing scenes will come in the 4x100m relay with the suit itself used as the baton… Non-members are welcome to take part (register via the website) while spectators can watch the antics for free.
