  • Dagenham & Redbridge won the Nationwide Conference last season by a massive 14-point margin and are looking forward to starting the new campaign on August 11 in League 2 of the Coca-Cola Football League. Dag & Red, as the abrupt television vidiprinter knows them, are an amalgamation of some of the most successful non-league outfits of all time, over the years taking in Ilford FC, Leytonstone FC, Walthamstow Avenue FC, Redbridge Forest and Dagenham FC. They can claim a phenomenal tally of seven FA Amateur Cups, 20 Isthmian League championships and 26 Essex Senior Cups. Could the League 2 title be next? Feature continues
