After the celebrities came and went, this was the ‘Hamlet’ the theatre world was excited by. Rory Kinnear triumphed in Nicholas Hytner’s production, which shed new light not only on the great ramparts of the play but also many less-illumined corners. And all for a tenner, for those lucky enough to get Travelex tickets.
