A Midsummer Night's Dream (As You Like It)

Russian director Dmitry Krymov brings his unique take on Shakespeare's fairy comedy to London. Commissioned by the RSC for the World Shakespeare Festival in 2012, the piece focuses solely on the amateur actors in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' trying to stage the tragedy of 'Pyramus and Thisbe' for dignitaries. Following from his performance of 'Opus No.7' at LIFT Festival, this will be performed with an opera singer, a performing dog, towering puppets and lots of laughs. Performed in Russian with English surtitles.
