A whole bunch (almost 3,000) of young Londoners auditioned to be part of this new production of the classic musical 'Annie'. And 350 managed to get through to be part of the cast of this one-hour version, with eight of those getting to take on the role of little red-head orphan Annie herself. With tunes such as 'It's the Hard Knock Life' and 'Tomorrow' it should be a treat. Although whether it can stand up to the big-hearted, all-kid 'Bugsy Malone' at the Lyric remains to be seen.
