The Caravan

Small audiences are often the kiss of death for a fringe theatre group. But Look Left Look Right's 'The Caravan' makes small beautiful. Their verbatim show about last summer's flood is set in a caravan – the kind that many people whose homes were ruined by the waters had to camp out in for months. And, although at thirty minutes long and with a maximum capacity of eight it's hardly palatial in scope, it's bursting with warmth, charm and honesty.
