I'm not a Mormon but previously went to school in Utah and knew many Mormon boys who were about to go on Missions - Rob Heaps had me totally convinced that he had just arrived fresh-faced from Salt Lake City!! Absolutely loved the play, the staging, and all the performances. The entire cast were outstanding - very naturalistic and engaging. Very well written and directed. If you haven't seen it yet, it's a MUST!!

Thank you very much for a brilliant piece of theatre. A gripping story, ancient yet contemporary, compelling genuine performances, subtle truth, imaginative use of space and crisp directing. Very fresh, very real, very good. Must-see for all!! xx

Much Love, Arno

This play has such great dialogue, witty and natural. The characters are so real and with such down to earth characteristics that you easily engage with them. Yet it is the combination of these everyday personalities that has created a story that gives both tension and searching questions. There are times you want to shout back but the fact you are having that reaction is one of the strengths of the play. With some clever dramatic devices and with the direction giving a great flow to the whole piece there are also some excellent performances to make this a production of merit.

You walk into the space to something very different, you start asking questions as soon as you are in the theatre, wondering what it is all about, the white boxes, the white room and then you are treated to a great perfomance by a very solid cast which is helped by the fantastic writing by Sebastian Micheal and direction from a talented young director. I watched the show on its second night and I was expecting to see what you expect from a second night fringe production, a bit rough around the edges, give it another week and it will be settled. Well you wouldn't of know it was so early on in the run. Fantastic work, I will be seeing it again!

Well done to everyone who helped in bringing Elder Latimer is in Love to the stage it was a truely wonderly performed and has to be said grip on to your seats in case you might find the realism of the close too challenging
you will definitely have sweaty palms towards its conclusion without spoiling the plot
A definite must see

If by "fantasy" you mean "fantastic" and by "hysteria" you mean "tension" I totally agree with you. It's a bold and brave play with a superb cast and wonderfully imaginative use of a simple but ingenious set. Go see!

Fantasy play, wonderful cast, excellent staging. Elder Latimer Is In Love is a wonderful story with powerful and current theme from a writer and performers who are courageous in their efforts to depict a truly dangerous minefield of religious beliefs and ideals. The characters are truthful and compelling acted out by a superb cast of new and more experienced cast members. The intelligence of the director stages never leaves a moment for the audience to switch of between scene and a result and audience is caught up in a vortex of emotion and indeed hysteria. With slick direction and charismatic performances one will never find themselves looking at their watch. Elder Latimer well worth it fee. ****

Outstanding! Massive five stars! *****

Can't praise the play enough.

Brilliantly written, directed and performed. All sorts of suprises and layers in the story that make for a thoroughly gripping and fresh experience at close proximity. The characters were so compelling that at points it really felt like they were playing out scenes for the first time, adding to the dynamism of a truly memorable play.

Another highlight is a bizarre but ingenious set.

Cliched as it as to say, but this really is unmissable theatre that seems in many ways to be truly pioneering. It's also a master class for the actors amongst us!
