Following a £30m redevelopment, Croydon's historic arts, entertainment and conference centre is due to re-open, fully modernised, in September 2019. Since opening its doors in 1962, it's hosted everything from BBC radio recordings to gigs by the likes of Queen, Pink Floyd and the Beatles.
