Indian Tempest

Shakespeare's Globe, Bankside Friday August 2 2013 19:30
Due to the volume of visiting international work, the Globe's 2013 season in no way confusingly contains two productions of 'King Lear' and two of 'The Tempest'. Nonetheless, you're hardly likely to get them mixed up: this wild version of Shakespeare's great late play is from anarchic outdoor theatre troupe Footsbarn, and includes actors from India and various parts of Europe. Performed in English, Malayalam, French and Sanskritt.
