Time Out says

The longest-serving artistic director in Britain steps down this year - Sam Walters set up the Orange Tree theatre in Richmond with Auriol Smith in 1971. They've continued to run the small, in-the-round space, and have supported up and coming directors as part of their Trainee Director Scheme. The graduates of that scheme return to the theatre now, to direct a series of revivals and new work in this varied festival, which features nine plays and six world premieres. Included is David Lewis's 'Skeletons', directed by Alexander Lass, about a family gathering together for the first time in decades; 'Closer Scrutiny' written and directed by Adam Barnard, about an astrophysicist and his molecular cell biologist daughter; 'Dream Before I Take The Stand' by Arlene Hutton and directed by Katie Henry about a woman imagining what will happen during her day in court. The festival features two triple bills, run on different dates over the three weeks and a series of lunchtime plays.
