Directed, rather curiously, by someone who claims to be Shakespeare's nephew nine generations removed, this pilot production of the bard's romantic tragedy also sets out to distinguish itself by recasting the fued between the Montagues and the Capulets as one of racial tension. Here the Montagues are immigrants from India – to the England of the '60s and Enoch Powell.
