I was there last week on my birthday. Treated me to a beer and much of the audience like aunts* many of whom ran away. The perfect gentleman. PM * - replace a with c. (Only messing of course: highly recommended)

Lewis's show last week was the best stand-up show I've been to in a while. A daringly intimate set-up, though perhaps not for the faint-hearted! But if you're looking for a fun night out and don't take life too seriously, I would highly recommend it. Excellent value, I laughed the whole night.

I've actually been to see Schaffer 3 or 4 times, always different. Sometimes funny, sometimes hilarious, sometimes you just want to smack him. The Source Below is a great little dark and intimate venue. Next time I'm in town I'd go again. Can't beat the price.

I went to the source yesterday to see lewis and had a good time, that isn't to say that at points there were some dry moments, overall though it made for a funny night. Schnaffel managed to handle a very awkward situation well when a completely pissed lairy girl got up on stage who had long out of prison and started mouthing off threatening the comedian as well as the audience. This is a small and intimate gig filling up to only around 30 people so if you go be prepared to get picked on even if your not at the front. not for the faint hearted freppy

He seemed like he was over standup comedy. His jokes didn't seem funny, he tried to make fun of people who weren't laughing, which caused less laughter. This guy has has his day, and it was several years ago. We left feeling deflated. He guilt-tripped us into donating to him... If he had less to drink, and more to talk about (I.e. had prepared some actual comedy), I would have felt fine giving money. Tonight I felt forced. Making the same jokes over and over, unprepared and uninterested. This is a night better missed.

We had a terrific night at Source Below, and the karaoke was great! The space was comfortable and private so even Karaoke virgins had the guts to go up! The barmen were great and the song selection and sound was good.

Saw Lewis last night. Intimate venue, amazing atmosphere. Unlike any stand up I've seen before. Massively enjoyed the continual audience/comedian banter. Go see him, you wont regret it.

Christmas Party for work on 16th December at Source Below: We had a great time! Venue was perfect size for our work function of about 20 people - perfect for what we needed! Thank you.
