A unique portrait of a unique man: 'The Spinning Wheel' is theatre maker, poet and musician Baba Israel's interpretation of the life of his father, the New York based jazz musician and beat poet Steve Ben Israel. The piece is a collaboration between Israel and Leo Kay, drawn from interviews, archives and stories about the man himself.
