Time Out says

What will science hold for science fiction writing in the future, and how will real-world breakthroughs and objects shape the relationship between the two? This is the lively subject under discussion by a panel including professor Ian Stewart FRS, emeritus professor of mathematics at Warwick University, Rachel Armstrong, co-director of AVATAR (Advanced Virtual and Technological Architectural Research) in Architecture & Synthetic Biology at The School of Architecture & Construction at the University of Greenwich, and Adrian Hon, the co-founder and CEO at Six to Start, an online games company. Following the panel discussion the winner of the 2013 Arthur C Clarke Award will be announced.
