Beauty aboard the Good Ship Benefit

Ahoy there, land-lubbers and beauty-lovers – The Good Ship Benefit has moored up on the Thames.

Setting sail from San Francisco, brilliant beauty brand Benefit Cosmetics has left the Bay Area in favour of the murky waters of the Thames. Dropping its (perfectly pink, we assume) anchor at Victoria Embankment, the Good Ship Benefit will be moored here for the next four months. And the best bit? Stepping aboard is totally free, and everyone is welcome.

Team Benefit have given the boat a good old-fashioned makeover and made it cooler than Edie Sedgwick, Kate and Cara combined. Instead of dodgy cruise ship singers warbling away and awkward dinners with the captain, there are three decks of beauty, bubbles and banging brows. Themed around five of Benefit’s face-saving hero products, five fantastic rooms will be open for fun and food with friends.

The Pinkton Parlour
The kind of room that Barbara Cartland would be more than happy in, this pink-hued parlour will be open for cocktails and coffees. And on the last Friday of each month it’ll be home to a pay-day party with an evening of discounts, disco and drinks.

The Porefessional Vault
Or the secret HQ. It's a super, '60s, space-age spot serving cocktails designed for each girl by the head heart-throb barman.

The Upper Deck
Keep an eye on Big Ben from the glitzy Lashitude (named after hero mascara ‘They’re Real!’) on the Upper Deck and stuff your face. Remember girls, it’s ‘riots not diets’.

Benefit Brow Lounge
Show off your on-fleek brows, with experts on hand to tame, shape and style caterpillars into, well not butterflies, but something a bit more wow-for-the-right-reasons.

Hoola Deck
Up-top is this space dedicated to tanning, bronzing and fitness. With a number of exercise classes scheduled this summer you can workout in the sun, or if you like your beach time to be a bit more horizontal, it comes complete with tiki huts, cabanas and a beach bar. And, relax.

The Good Ship Benefit is moored at Victoria Embankment from April 9-August 31 2016. It's open from 11am–11pm Sunday-Thursday and 11am–midnight Fridays and Saturdays.
