Popular cookbook authors the Hemsley sisters will switch on Borough Market's Christmas lights at the base of its 20ft tree. The event will start at 5.30pm with a Christingle service at Southwark Cathedral. Market residents Cartwright Brothers and Konditor & Cook will serve free mulled wine and mince pies respectively from 6pm.
