Have a Christmas fit for a Tudor King as Henry VIII’s sixteenth-century pad, Hampton Court Palace, gets into the festive spirit. As well as its handsome Thames-side ice rink, there’ll be Chrismas cooking demonstrations in the cavernous kitchens where skilled ‘Tudor cooks’ will help you try your hand at ‘turnbroche’ meat roasting on the fire and historical seasonal music performances will pop up in the Great Hall and King William III's apartments. Or, pig out at the Festive Fayre when street food stalls and artisan producers will take over the courtyards and grounds.
