For the seventh year running, the independent shopkeepers of Columbia Road will be opening late on four consecutive Wednesdays in the run up to Christmas – offering up a heady mix of eclectic gift ideas, live music, top-notch food and seasonal cheer. With over 50 shops involved again this year, the Christmas Wednesdays are fast becoming an annual fixture for thousands of Londoners and visitors alike.   • We visited the Battersea Arts Centre Christmas Market in Clapham over the weekend and it was really nice. Had some lovely Chocolate Port wine and Toffee Vodka which was a first. Great Handicrafs and Christmas greens. <a href="http://www.check-in-london.com">London Serviced Apartments</a>
