Visual artist, Michael Takeo Magruder presents an exhibition inspired and based on the Book of Revelation. Produced during a year-long artist residency at the King’s College London Cultural Institute, Magruder’s work blends arts practice with academic research and employs a range of technologies including virtual reality and 3D printing. Audiences are invited to step into an ‘illuminated’ metropolis based on Revelation’s architectural descriptions, and can watch as a real horse skull is continuously copied into 2D and 3D prints and wireframes.
