Time Out says
Tue Mar 12 2013
WWF's Earth Hour invites people around the world to turn off their lights between 8.30pm and 9.30pm to raise awareness of climate change and the natural world. In London, famous landmarks are expected to take part (in previous years Big Ben, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace have taken part), with special events also taking place.
The 2013 events sees WWF ambassadors including Miranda Richardson, Kevin McCloud and Alistair McGowan record versions of Rudyard Kipling's 'Just So' stories for families to listen to by candlelight during the big switch off. The tales will be available for free download at www.wwf.org.uk/justsostories from Mar 16.
