Edible Cinema at the Science Museum

As part of the Science Museum's September Late the on-site IMAX cinema will screen Tim Burton's 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', but with a difference. Two of your senses will already be engaged, but experimental chefs Blanch & Shock will tickle your tastebuds, awaken your sense of smell and even tantilise you with textures via a bite-sized tasting menu which will correspond to specific scenes in the film. A tray of mystery boxes will be served at the start and a signal will indicate when the audience should open them. Treats will include gum that tastes like a three-course dinner and Augustus-flavoured chocolate-covered Goop. Nearly as magical as the factory itself.
