Time Out says

The Horniman’s major exhibition for 2014 looks at how plants and animals survive in extreme heat, cold, dryness and darkness. The answer? By adapting – and they develop some downright wacky traits. Feel the air-conditioning inside an ostrich’s beak, try to drink as fast as a camel and see how fat you are compared to a seal. This family-friendly exhibition is in three languages – English, French and Spanish – and features loads of games and hands-on experiences.
