Free workshop on communication and teamwork on 5th September in London. Do you know the purpose of your work? Are you a team player? Are you a great communicator? Can you easily persuade someone to see your point of view? Can you think outside the box to solve problems creatively? Let's find out! What business are you in? Think about this question - no matter where you work or who for what is the essence or key purpose of your job/department/organisation? Answers may vary but the priorities you may give to elements of the answer will be key - particularly if you want to set yourself up in a business. We will have fun doing an interactive exercise which at first looks simple until we ask the question what business were we in? This is not a lecture but a journey to learn more about ourselves. Come prepared to get actively involved and bring your contribution on the day. Only 5 spaces available so book quickly! More information follow the link: http://www.jcilondon.org.uk/events/2013-09-05/1238-what-business-are-you-in-interactive-workshop/

To those of you asking about free language learning opportunities, check out couchsurfing.org... they often have people who moved to London to learn English, and they would like to teach a bit of their own language in return. From what I see it is mostly Spanish but just put up a post yourself and see who responds otherwise :)
