A good exhibition but the labels are almost impossible to read if you are more than four feet tall and unable to see in the dark. I can understand low light levels on the exhibits but the information about them should be better lit and, if it has to be so low down, in much bigger characters.

Everyday British life changed forever at the hands of the Georgians. Whether you see the period as bawdy and hedonistic, or tastefully stiff upper lipped, 1714 to 1830 was a turning point in British society. This show, filled with illustrated books, newspapers and magazines from the collection and loaned artworks and artefacts, explores the rise of fashion, celebrity and leisure that took over modern life.
