A complete rip off for customers ( charged £8.00 to shop) didn't feel like parting with more money once inside, so poor stall holders. Organisers hang your head in shame and remember integrity is best as ripping off people once will not make you millionaires .

I am not usually the type of person who will complain, but I have really been struggling this year with costs and starting up my little business. I came all the way from North Wales and I specifically asked how many Glass stalls there would be as I could not really afford the expense if there were too many. There were at least 6 - which may not sound a lot but at this kind of event it was! I had to bring my own music as there was none - we were turned away from the loading bay 3 times on the set up day. We were at the furthest place they could find which we had to walk each morning. I never met any of the organisers, have no idea what they even look like! I know that there was a petition which we all signed and I would like the courtesy of a reply and a refund - as this Christmas I will not be able to afford to do anything as I did not even make up my petrol costs.

Absolute disgrace. Nothing promised on the website came true. A massive rip off, no attempt at all to make it look nice or create an atmosphere. Stall holders and customers alike seemed either angry or disappointed.

Awful event. Complete rip off, charging people to get in to shop??? No decorations, entertainment, workshops or anything, just charged money to get in to look at market stalls. Every other stall seemed to have jewellery and not every stall was handmade either. Not worth a visit at all.

Not on my list of things to do in 2014. Nothing provided once you passed the door fee. Toilets were a disgrace. No seating and hardly any workshops as advertised in fact very little for the children to do. On an upside great stalls just little ambience. Expensive to park. Expensive to get in.

The whole principle behind this makes me so angry. Imagine if Sainsburies or Tescos tried charging you to enter their shops - how long do you think they'd stay in business for? Well, Handmade Christmas don't seem to have cottoned on to this rather obvious concept yet, and are trying to charge customers before they even enter the shopping area. Worse still, they don't even take credit card, so you've then got to try and track down a cash point for the privilege. So, you're charged for parking, you're charged again to get into the shopping area (if you're a family this can get pretty expensive), you have to withdraw a large amount of cash because nobody takes card inside, and at this point, you're not even sure if you're going to buy anything! Sigh... On the plus side, the quality of the store holders goods once you're inside is high, and the place is very quiet, even when the O2 is seething - mostly of course because no casual shoppers are going to pay to come in. I do feel sorry for the store holders though, who I imagine have paid quite a bit to display their products here.
