Kensington Palace's doors are once again open to the public, and the timing couldn't be more apt in this Jubilee year. Once home to Queen Victoria and the Princess of Wales, it will now be the residence of a new generation of royals. The rooms have been transformed into interactive experiences, showcasing work by contemporary installation artists alongside exhibits from the palace's collection.

Kensington Palace's outside space was landscaped by Charles Bridgeman, royal gardener from 1728 until 1738. Today his garden has been re-established with the removal of railings and trees that were put up later and interrupted Bridgeman's original design. With a new garden created to the east, the palace and its grounds are now reconnected to Kensington Gardens, making the palace more accessible to the public.
