As the main hub of the London Design Festival, the V&A hosts installations and events throughout the building, including an installation by Keiichi Matsuda that incorporates video, design and architecture to present an alternative view of London (on show in the uppermost cupola of the V&A which is normally closed to visitors). SodaStream will build a functioning bar in the John Madejski Garden, taking its inspiration from recycled bottles, and a series of temporary lighting interventions will be created by Philips in the tunnel entrance to the Museum and around South Kensington. The Museum also hosts festival-related workshops, seminars and talks, some of which may be ticketed.
