Olympic Park in pictures
Time Out sends its photographer to check out the Olympic Park
With the London 2012 Olympic Games now well under way, Time Out takes a stroll around the park to meet spectators and view the artwork, and landscaping, of the largest new urban park to be built in Europe for the last 150 years. Photography by Rob Greig.

All of the parkland material has been sourced from around the UK. After the heavily contaminated soil was cleaned and rid of Japanese knotweed the planting could begin. The wetland plants have been grown in Norfolk and Wales and form part of the UK’s largest ever urban river and wetland planting.
