In June 1978 Sir Harold Evans, then editor of The Sunday Times, risked imprisonment when he exposed the story of the drug thalidomide, which left thousands of babies with deformities in the fifties and sixties. 'Attacking the Devil' is a new documentary telling the story of the investigation and Evans' support of the families who were seeking proper compansation. This screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the film's directors, Jacqui and David Morris. Booking recommended.
