This new attraction at the aquarium is home to a shoal of around 20 sharks –including brown sharks and black-tip reef sharks. Visitors pass along a five-metre-long glass walkway to see the creatures swimming inches beneath their feet. The tank is visible from several different levels of the auquarium as it reaches a depth of 19.6m. The display includes a shipwreck and reconstructions of the Easter Island heads. There's also the 'Shark Academy' area, where interactive exhibits illustrate the 450-million-year evolution of the shark.
